The Vanthilt House

The Vanthilt House (Villa Vanthilt) was a summer season prime time talk show. Nine weeks long host Marcel Vanthilt welcomed exciting guests in his own villa, a splendid vacation home he stationed in the center of two Belgian cities. The first four weeks he was based in Ghent followed by five weeks in Hasselt.

The show’s focal point were lively chats with nearly 200 talk of the town guests. But every day there was also an excellent musical guest and a nice bit of nostalgia: a look back at the magical year of 1969. The villa itself was inspired by The Eames House in Los Angeles, a landmark of modern architecture, built in 1949 by the great American architect Charles Eames.

The Villa Vanthilt house was aired LIVE throughout the summer, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
