By selling the boxes with chocolate truffles made in the series, Team Chocolate raised nothing less than 22.885 euros for ngo Down Syndrome Flanders. The actors from STAP Theatre will deliver the proceeds to Studio Brussels in the context of the Hottest Week

Prompted by the release of Team Chocolate, broadcasted on Eén earlier this year, De Mensen and Eén in collaboration with Confiserie Elise introduced their chocolate truffles at Colruyt and the local bakeries.  With every sold box, 0,50 eurocent went to ngo Down Syndrome Flanders, an organisation that campaigns for children and adults with Down syndrome, their family and friends. The Team Chocolate truffles were a success: 45.770 boxes were sold from September on, good for 22.885 euros for charity.

Marc Bryssinck (co-director Team Chocolateand creative director at STAP Theatre): “We’re very grateful for the warm welcome of the series and the truffles. STAP Theatre is delighted we’ve been able to support a charity with the revenue, a charity that campaigns for all people with Down Syndrome and their families in Flanders.”
